Dear People:

Seeing as how this is APAH Month and it's one of the reasons I started this blog - to give another voice in the APA community (however much you hate it or like it) - I thought I'd recap a few things - and no - everything doesn't apply to everyone:

1. I don't blog for fame and fortune and I blog on my own terms - it's pretty simple and something you shouldn't forget because while I'm all up for promoting Asian America and Asia in general - don't get me confused with someone that works for you. I don't.

2. Listen - I've let my mouth get in front of me a few times - it comes with the territory - and really, sometimes I can just be an ass, but seriously - if I've made good efforts to try and make things cool, either acknowledge it, or go fuck yourself.

3. If you want to know something about me or this blog that concerns you - don't hit me up through your PR firm - contact me direct.

4. Stop asking for my fucking identity. I'm Slanty - that's all you need to fucking know. Quote me, use shit - I don't care - but stop hounding me. I'm not a white guy.

5. See some shit on my blog you want to add to yours that you didn't read somewhere else first? Fucking hat-tip me. Don't just steal shit like you came across it yourself.

6. Everything you read here at this blog - comes from me - the real me - Slanty me - if you think this is just an online "persona" you kind of have a few things coming.

7. Just because I don't agree with you on one thing doesn't mean shit as to why I'm here. Check the posts, check the time - we all have our causes and mine might not always be yours, but it doesn't diminish the fact that I'm out trying to push Asian Americans - just like you. Check that shit at the fucking door. I'll do the same.

8. If you want me to review your book or books at your company - learn how to get back to me in a decent amount of time if I ask you a question - not three fucking months later - and don't be suprised if I don't get back to you then.

9. White People - the dumb White People - get a fucking clue.

I think that's about it.
