If the Supreme Court, in its "conservative wisdom", can give as many tools to the Grifter And Chief as possible, to help Break America, I can certainly bring back this remix forgeting about anything else having to do with the original video which creates debate.

In case you missed it.

Ronny Chieng to Voice Kahn From ‘King of the Hill’

Tuesday, July 15, 2025

Here's a snippet of the article on resonate:

Addressing Representation in Animated Roles

Chieng’s casting for Kahn aligns with ongoing industry conversations about ensuring animated characters are voiced by actors who share their characters’ ethnic backgrounds. Chieng himself reportedly alluded to this casting in December during a podcast recording, explaining that the recasting for Kahn was intended to ensure an Asian actor would voice the character.

Kahn Souphanousinphone is married to Minh and is the father of Connie (both of whom will continue to be voiced by Lauren Tom). The character is known for his complex relationship with Hank Hill, often asserting his “superiority complex” while navigating suburban life in Arlen, Texas.

Dean Cain + Superman = Please Just Stop Talking

Tuesday, July 15, 2025

Calling someone an immigrant is political? While I typically like APIA commentary....please just stop talking at any moment Dean Cain.

P.S. On Lilo & Stitch And The 2025 World Box Office...And That BTS

Sunday, July 13, 2025

According to those boxofficemojo numbers, the real life movie version--which was amazing to see (saw it the 2nd weekend it came out)--has these numbers (as of today):

Worldwide $978 million dollars with $412 million domestic in the US and $565 million in all other markets (foreign).
Not bad work if you can get it.
The 2nd top movie of the year so far behind
Here's a great video below from behind the scenes with everyone talking about being in the film, why they wanted to tell the story that they did--a lot of great APIA voices here.
Maia and Sydney seem like they could be real sisters!
So cute.
More movies!
But even if there is not a live sequel soon--what's even better is that the in 10/15 years the young kids that watched this will remember these Asian faces, and want to see them again in something new.
Compound interest.

Here's a some info from the up and comer...is there a new acronym we should be using I wonder--brown dems upward political....

Meet Zohran

Zohran Kwame Mamdani is a New York State Assemblymember and democratic socialist running for Mayor. Born in Uganda and raised in New York City, he has fought for the working class in and outside the legislature: hunger striking alongside taxi drivers to achieve more than $450 million in transformative debt relief, winning over $100 million in the state budget for increased subway service and a successful fare-free bus pilot, and organizing New Yorkers to defeat a proposed dirty power plant. The cost of living is crushing working people but Zohran believes that government can lower costs and make life easier in our city — he’ll use every tool available to bring down the rent, create world class public transit, and make it easier to raise a family.

The Sprial: From "Em Đi" To "Long Lanh" To “XE ĐẠP” To Mika Nakashima To Utada?

Wednesday, July 02, 2025

Was on Instagram and this came up on my feed.

Which is incredible. So naturally it led me to this.

If that didn't take your breath away it begs the question of if you have a beating heart.

And then this...

But I didn't read the fine print and I distinctly knew the melody.

Mika Nakashima remake with new lyrics?

Genius.

And since I then needed a Mika Nakashima fix,

the universe led me to this other song on The First Take.

How in the world did I miss that?

Timeless. Her voice, the performance.

Are you kidding me?

We should all just be thankful we can give witness.

And ss luck would have it there was video on the side from last month...

There's no one like Utada.

She's everything.

Literally just everything.

And this just keeps adding to her mythology.
