At the same time he references our time in America (1975) as something to point to as far as assimilation (which we can talk about more later) - but when did Somali Americans start coming into MN?
Oh yeah 1992.
So by Keithphan885's own adminission AKA Bootlicker the Somali American community has about another 20 years to "keep up" with the Viets (and really we started coming out here in the 50's and 60's---not en masse but in smaller numbers).
And they are only about 1/4 the size with less resources.
And just for the record--no Somali American in MN here EVER had me speak anything but English (but that's okay for me to learn).
And I LOVE my SOMALI neighbors and community members.
