I'm not saying they have anything to do about it - but again - looking at some lists does beg the question of when we'll see more writers get on out and stake their claim.

And I ask you - name me authors who have books where they have nothing to do about their immigration story?

And not that I'm saying those aren't great books - because I love them like everyone else - but when do we become mainstream on all topics versus just stories about our culture and immigration and melting into a pot where we get burned?
