Bottom line is that when you have a player such as American DaMarcus Beasley, who was pretty well known in the MLS before playing for the Glasgow Rangers, getting racist taunts from fans and no one really bats an eye - it becomes an issue. The UEFA has had a long tradition of turning a blind eye to racism in soccer and it needs to get things cleaned up before soccer can truly become a world sport.
