Charlottean Nini Bautista has been named one of the 100 most influential Filipina women in the United States by the Filipina Women's Network. Bautista is chairwoman of the Asian-American Chamber of Commerce, a published author and award-winning scientist. The network's 100 Most Influential Filipina Women awards honor Filipina women who are "changing the face of power in America."
"I am honored and humbled at the same time for being selected," Bautista said. Bautista will be honored along with the other winners at a formal Filipino gala Oct. 30 during the sixth annual Filipina Leadership Summit in Berkeley, Calif.
