Since I've started this blog, among others, I've gotten correspondance from PR firms, I was asked to give some quotes for an NPR story (which I had to decline), CNN linked out to me via one of their automated applications - and while I say that with a somewhat "that's cool" factor - in all reality - I'm really not that cool and I'm not the biggest of blogs - no one's doing specials on me - I'm just a guy who doesn't know when to shut up and just likes to hear himself type.

But I do have to admit that seeing the name of this blog - Slant Eye For The Round Eye on USA Today - complete with a link - that was actually kind of cool for me to see - the fact that someone - Brian Mansfield to be exact - an actual human - wasn't afraid of the name of this blog to use it in a story - to see it for what it is - that was definitely fun:

Slant Eye for the Round Eye, a news and op-ed blog covering Asian and Asian-American topics, calls a YouTube video of Cathy Nguyen and Andrew Garcia (whom we've seen in promos for the Los Angeles auditions) singing Keri Hilson's Knock You Down the "best cover of the year" (meaning 2009). By the way, the video has nearly 2 million views. Can you say "audience base"?
I guess it's the little things in life right?

Yes. Yes it is.

Nice.
