Cultural Transcendence And The Wing Luke Asian Museum

There's an article out in The Seattle Times on the "Cultural Transcendence" exhibit down at the Wing Luke Asian Museum and while I haven't caught it myself - definitely sounds like something you want to see if you get the chance.

Heidi Kumao's brief "Transplant" is more explicitly political, combining silhouette animation with archival photographs and film footage of the Japanese-American internment-camp experience. A strip of cloth inside a bell jar, in front of the video projection, highlights fragments of the imagery in a striking manner.
