During World War II, Japanese Americans were interned in camps inside the continental United States. These American citizens were treated as threats by their own government and forced to live in dwellings surrounded by barbed wire. This is the story of how some of these families dealt with their captivity through the use of the great American pastime. A collaboration with Mu Performing Arts and Mixed Blood Theatre, you will be inspired by Katie Leo 's adaptation of the Award-winning book by Ken Mochizuki and illustrator Dom Lee.
