Yanin Vismistananda as Zen in Chocolate

Seriously people, I talked about this film earlier in the year and really - this was one of the best damn action flicks I've seen in all of '08 hands down, and I just had to give it its own award.

Directed by Prachya Pinkaew and choreographed by Panna Rittikrai, the Thai flick stars Yanin "Jeeja" Vismistananda who plays the autistic character Zen (and does it without any stunt double) who basically kicks everyone's ass non-stop throughout the whole movie to keep her family intact. And like I said before - if you get the chance, definitely check it out and then once you've seen, watch it again because it really is just that damn good.

* While once being a big brother to a little guy with autism doesn't make me immune from marginalizing anyone even if I don't think I am - I did think about the title of the post/award in that regard - so try not to beat me down too much if you really have issues with it.
