Major news from Southern California’s San Gabriel Valley. Yesterday Judy Chu’s main opponent, State Sen. Gloria Romero, announced she would not run for Congress. Instead, she announced she would run for State School Superintendent in 2010, and endorsed fellow State Sen. Gil Cedillo for outgoing Rep. Hilda Solis’ congressional seat.
