Caught this photo down at Flickr and just wanted to repost it on up along with the text underneath it.

Elected in 1962, Wing Luke was Seattle's first Asian-American city councilmember. He served until 1965, when he died in a plane crash in the Cascade Mountains. Item 103106, Fleets and Facilities Department Imagebank Collection (Record Series 0207-01), Seattle Municipal Archives.
