I'm not saying that there's any correlation between prank calls and the killing of Asian American food delivery workers like the recent death of 59-year-old Thu Nguyen - I'm not making that statement - because making a prank call, even if you are showing your prejudice, isn't the same as taking someone's life in what can only be described a senseless act - but I do wonder if people who make these types of calls, old and young, ever really think about people like Nguyen, if and when they hear about murders like his.
I hope if they don't now, that they will someday.
If only just because.
