The Eye (Remake): Tamlyn Tomita, François Chau

Here's the trailer for the upcoming movie remake of the Pang Brother's The Eye which also has Tamlyn Tomita, and François Chau in the movie in addition to stars Jessica Alba and Parker Posey (out February 2008).

Remakes aren't always great ideas, and a lot of times, they won't compare to the original - but - it's always great to see filmmakers from Asia whose movies are being recognized as being so good, that they should be brought to a new and wider audience - and this is definitely one of those movies.

Let's just hope they did it justice at the end of the day.
