Tisa Chang: A little different

There's a good article on the founder of the Pan Asian Repertory, Tisa Chang down at the NY Daily News:

In the minds of most Americans, fictional characters like Fu Manchu and Charlie Chan represented Asian life. "I personally played Vietnamese bar girls and ghosts of Vietnamese women," says Chang, who is not even Vietnamese but rather a Chinese-American who has lived in New York nearly her entire life.
