It's become official: Welcome NBA China.
With investors like Walt Disney and the Bank of China Group who put in a total of 253 million dollars in the new subsidiary (valued at 2.3 billion), NBA China is now set to broadcast more games as well as create league teams for a whole new set of Asian superstars on the hardwood which can only help broaden the perception of how people sometimes view Asian Americans on the blacktop - and that's definitely cool.
I just wonder if I'll be able to see a finals between the two best teams from each country sometime in the near future and if the top selling jersey won't be Kevin Garnett's but rather some baller's from Shanghai.
