The Indian-American community in the tristate area will hold what is being described as a special "condolence meeting" in memory of the victims of the terror attacks in Mumbai, India, at the Royal Albert's Palace on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 12:30 p.m.
Local leaders in the Asian Indian community and several elected officials are expected to attend.
"We want to show our solidarity with the people of India, especially the families of the victims," said Pradip (Peter) Kothari of Woodbridge, the coordinator of Sunday's event.
"We also want to show the government of India that we are solidly behind you," he said.
